KnifeMarkt collects personal data on any User browsing, consulting and ordering on our Site, in particular by the use of cookies in accordance with current legislation.

This data collection takes place when the User:

  • create an account
  • subscribe to the KnifeMarkt Newsletter
  • places an order or a return request on the site
  • puts products in his shopping cart, through functional cookies (See paragraph ´ Cookies'), to allow him to finalize his purchase later

    The User must fill in all the fields of the account creation form or any form for entering information on the Site with the exception of the fields displayed as optional, that is to say not marked with an asterisk. The optional information is collected by KnifeMarkt and allows to better know the Users of the Site.

    All information marked with an asterisk is mandatory. The User must respond to it.

    Any failure to reply will result in the non-creation of an account or the non-validation of the information entry form. KnifeMarkt will not respond to requests from the User.


    The data collected is intended for the use of KnifeMarkt. The data can be transmitted to banking establishments including Paypal, police services within the framework of legal and accounting requisitions.

    The data may also be processed by subcontractors to which KnifeMarkt uses in the context of the personalization of the contents of the Site, the dispatch of orders, the collection of debts, the prevention and the fight against fraud.


    The User is informed that this automated processing of personal data has been declared to the CNIL. In accordance with the amended Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the User has the right to access, rectify and delete data concerning him.     KnifeMarkt informs the User that he can define, during his lifetime, directives relating to the conservation, erasure and communication of his personal data after his death. These guidelines can be general or specific. The User can modify or revoke his directives at any time.     The postal address is necessary for processing and managing orders as well as for commercial relations between KnifeMarkt and the customer. KnifeMarkt uses this personal data for commercial prospecting purposes. At any time, the customer has the possibility of opposing it in a simple and free way on the Site in the section "My account" or by email.


    The Identified User can subscribe to the product alerts offered by KnifeMarkt. He can at any time unsubscribe from the alerts to which he has subscribed in the "My Account" section.


    This service allows the customer to submit a notice on the Site for a product purchased and to share their experience. The published notices are publicly accessible and available on the Site at any time. The customer authorizes KnifeMarkt to publish and communicate on the Site its opinion on the product.     KnifeMarkt informs the User that this procedure will not prevent the display of advertisements on the websites you visit. It will only block technologies that allow ads to be tailored to your interests.


    KnifeMarkt uses web beacons on certain pages of the Site which count the number of visitors to the page. The information collected via these web beacons is anonymous and allows to know the frequentation of certain pages of the Site, and this in order to better assist the Users of the Site.


    The Site uses social media plugins such as Facebook, Instagram (Hereafter ´ Social Networks').     KnifeMarkt does not manage the data collected by Social Networks via the buttons. The User must be aware of the policy relating to the protection of personal data published by the Social Networks concerned, in order to know the methods of processing and use of the data collected by them as well as the configuration possibilities which he has to protect his privacy. If the User does not want the Social Network to link the information collected through KnifeMarkt's Social Network user account, he must log out of the Social Network before consulting the Site.


    KnifeMarkt implements all technical means in accordance with the rules of the art to maintain the integrity, security and confidentiality of data and in particular to prevent them from being distorted, damaged or from unauthorized third parties having access to them.



    The data collected is also used in the context of preventing and combating fraud, in particular bank card fraud. KnifeMarkt reserves the right to verify the personal data communicated by the customer when placing the order and to adopt all measures deemed necessary to verify that the person whose bank account is debited is indeed the one who spent the order, in order to avoid any fraudulent payment. This verification may take the form of a request for proof of identity and / or domicile.

    In the absence of a negative response from the customer, KnifeMarkt reserves the right to cancel the order placed by the customer.
